Some Do's:
DO ensure your scout can pack ALL of their belongings into one bag plus sleeping bag that they can carry.

All personal gear (except fishing poles and camp chair) must fit into these two bags and the bags must be clearly labeled with their name.  Sleeping bags may be put in trash bag for keeping dry.
DO label all Gear with Scout's name. Name = returned while No name = gone.
DO talk with your scout about proper behavior before we leave.  We are representing our Troop, our Sponsoring Unit, our Council, our State, etc.

Any inappropriate behavior, misbehaving, un-scout like behavior, etc. will not be tolerated.

Enthusiasm and Scout Spirit is contagious, and permeates the camp.  We want to make a positive contribution.

Some Don'ts:
Don’t bring fixed blade knives to camp.

Don’t bring long neck lighters to camp.

Don't bring valuables into camp: electronic games, cell phones, iPods, etc.  The camp is not secure.  These items are permitted for the ride up and back, but not during camp.
Don't bring a lot of extra stuff (baseball gloves, lawn darts, badminton set), recommend a book, cards, etc.  There really is not a lot of extra time.
If you must hook up your scout with snacks, please have them in individual wrapped servings. No food will be allowed in their tent.

Big bags of snacks will be shared by all in camp!

They will get all the food they can eat at camp, but a few snacks are totally reasonable.

Homemade cookies for the adults are encouraged, yes, we might share J
