What is Youth Protection Training, and how do I obtain it?
Youth Protection Training is a 20 minute on-line tutorial that educates adults about ways to keep our boys safe. All parents should take the course; parents that want to participate in activities MUST take the course. Go to www.myscouting.org and establish an account. After you take the training, you will receive a certificate. Send that to karen.ehrlich@sodexo.com. Karen Ehrlich maintains the list of compliant adults. Without the certification, adults will not be allowed to participate in activities, including weekly scout meetings. This course protects both the boys and the adults.
How do I receive troop e-mails?
E-mail Scoutmaster Moriarty at jpmoriarty@comcast.net. Mr. Moriarty will send you an invitation to the Yahoo group. You must respond to the email to be added to the Yahoo group.
